Novarus V0-1D STAR

Mag lev assisted, pulse engine propelled, fueled by a tritium micro reactor. Designed and built for the most dangerous racing leagues in the local systems.

All that to say, I made a little hoverbike. Look at it go :v

Wanted to shake off the rust and get back 3D, and decided to jump into something I haven't done before and make some sort of vehicle. And after picking up a couple courses from FlippedNormals over the holidays, I figured why not take out two birds with one lump of polygons and texture maps. One of the courses I got was using a hoverbike as their example, so I dug out an old design I had scribbled a while back and figured I'd use that for my own project while following along with the videos to learn some new tricks. I didn't have a full concept, just a little side view, so the direction this took changed a couple times while making it over the course of the last week or so, but I'm really happy with the final results after I leaned into the Wipeout inspired racing aesthetic.
